This week traveling through Facebook is a suggestion to change your profile photo to a retro photo...It seems that many of us have landed back in the late 60's or 70's depending on our age in our photo. I have had a laugh or two as I scroll through the new profile photos and the few adamant folks who refuse to "play the game" (the smart ones)
The fact is it does not matter what decade you pick some of these things went out of style for VERY good reason. Danskin "outfits", short gym shorts, POLYESTER anything, peter pan collars, platform shoes ...the list goes on...
Each decade has its own. I have been looking around thinking about what we will be laughing at in 2030. UGGS and mini skirts, leg warmers and anything, short sleeve shirts over long sleeve shirts (that are attached), wooden clogs (unless you are Dutch) headbands with bows, skintight pleather...

I love photos. They truly freeze a moment in time.

i just want to spontaneously combust at 50... sorry Pooti and co. Just don't want to live to see the day when i look back on getting my heart broke and say," that was when i was vibrant."...nope.
